Eddie Gordon interview
Eddie, talk about how this week went for you and how the game felt.
It went real good, it was a great week. I met a lot of cool people, a lot of good people.
Can you talk about your relationship with NC State and how often you speak with them?
I talk to Coach Bridge every week and I go to a lot of the games, so it's real fun.
You played center today, did you play there during the high school season?
Yes, sir, I played center today and in high school.
Was this your first year playing center?
Yes, sir, it was my first year playing center. I just had to step up for the team, the team needed me.
Is that where you'll play at NC State?
Probably center and guard, depending on what they need and what they need me to do.
Was it any different playing center this fall?
It was. Snapping the ball was kind of different compared to guard, it's kind of far-off, but it's been a smooth transition and I think I did pretty good at it.
When did you take your official visit?
I went in January, when all of the other commits did.
Do you talk with any of the other commitments, are you close with any of them?
Oh, yeah. I talk to K'Hadree [Hooker], M.J. [Salahuddin], James [Summers], Josh [Sessoms], I talk to all of them boys.
What about defensive end commit Tyler Knox? How did he do this week?
He did pretty good, he was the defensive Player of the Game. He's going to be big for the South Carolina boys going to North Carolina State.
If you had to leave a message for NC State fans, what would it be?
