Ohio outside linebacker Mike Tyler's Cardinal commitment came somewhat out of the blue to Stanford fans. Though Tyler did camp in Palo Alto over summer, he made a verbal commitment to Vanderbilt shortly thereafter and didn't have much contact with the Stanford coaches for most of his senior season.
To get a better idea of what Stanford fans can expect from the 6-foot-5, 230-pounder, Cardinal Sports Report spoke with Tyler's high school coach, Jason Black, earlier this week.
