Lakeville native Mike Kvasnicka has been a welcome edition to the Gopher baseball team. Kvasnicka, who is a true freshman catcher and right fielder, has played in each game for the Gophers this year while making some impressive contributions in the field and at the plate. Among his season highlights are a pair of homeruns in the Dairy Queen Classic at the Metrodome. More impressive, the switch hitting Kvasnicka hit them from both sides of the plate.
