Bower talks 'Cuse offer

Somerville (N.J.) Immaculata 2013 defensive end Tashawn Bower is one of the top defensive ends in the class of 2013. He also has an early offer from Syracuse.

"I was so happy they offered, it was my first one and I knew my hard work was paying off."

With the offer in hand from Syracuse what does the 6-foot-5, 225 pound prospect think of the Orange?

"I think it's a great program, I'm definitely comfortable with coaches and getting down there to see more would be awesome."

He in fact has already taken a trip to Syracuse.

"I went up there once. I went up there for their spring game last year. I loved the visit. I like what their beliefs are and how they approach things."

As of right now where to the Orange stand for Bower?

"Syracuse is definitely right up there."

On Rivals.com Bower is listed as a defensive end and Syracuse would like him to stay there if he picks the Orange.

"Syracuse likes me at defensive end. I think the hard work along with my talent makes me a division one prospect."

Besides Syracuse Bower has offers from Florida State, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and others.
