JUCO tight end intrigued by Husker offer

Nebraska loses Ben Cotton and Kyler Reed to graduation after the 2012 season, and that would leave them with only two scholarship tight ends on the entire roster. So it stands to reason that the NU staff would be looking for a quality junior college tight end to come in and help bridge the gap.

Beau Sandland, from Woodland Hills (Calif.) Pierce C.C., would fit the bill nicely. The 6-foot-6, 250-pounder will be a December graduate with three years to play two seasons.
