Another CB in the fold
Coming into the 2013 recruiting cycle, the Georgia coaching staff knew that defensive back would be a top priority, and before a single 2013 prospect has even started their senior year, the Bulldogs have already received their fourth commitment at the position in the form of North Marion (Citra, Fla.) cornerback Reggie Wilkerson.
"I just committed," said Wilkerson on his visit to UGA for their annual G-Day Spring Scrimmage. "I'm a Bulldog."
Wilkerson received an offer from the Bulldogs in a visit to Athens in early March, and immediately named Georgia he leader.
Wilkerson stars on both sides of the ball for North Marion as a wide receiver and a defensive back for the Colts and in his junior season, and the Sunshine State blue chipper racked up 750 all purpose yards as a wide receiver, quarterback, and running back while compiling 30 tackles, one interception, and five pass breakups on defense.
Rivals Southeast Analyst Keith Niebuhr named Wilkerson one of the top and most impressive performers at the NLA seven versus seven event in Atlanta on March 3 and March 4.
The North Marion standout gives the Bulldogs their 15th commitment in the 2013 class.
