State's No.1 Prospect Talks OU Commitment

From All- American punt returner Antonio Perkins to Outland Trophy winner Jammal Brown one wouldn't be hard pressed to make the argument Lawton (Okla.) has been kind to head coach Bob Stoops and his Oklahoma program.

Following the Sooners spring game this past Saturday defensive ends coach Bobby Jack Wright found out that string of success would continue as Oklahoma picked up the commitment of the state's No. 1 2013 prospect in Lawton High School weakside defensive end D.J. Ward.



Tuesday afternoon SoonerScoop.com had the opportunity to catch up with the Rivals100 member as Ward talked about his experience this past weekend in Norman as well as what Sooner fans should look for from the 6-foot-4, 240-pound prospect in 2013.
