Important visit for Greene

Jalen Greene recently took an unofficial visit to Boise State and the Gardena (Calif.) Serra quarterback is happy he did.

Not only did the 6-foot-3, 195-pound lefty quarterback land his first offer on the trip but he loved everything about the Broncos' program and said he'll seriously consider them moving forward in his recruitment.

"Pretty much everything stood out," Greene said.

"It's a small town but there is a lot of stuff out there that I like. I like the business school, that's what I want to major in when I go to college, and the school had everything I like."

The coaching staff also stood out to Greene, who helped lead Serra to the state championship in his junior season.

The three-star prospect had good meetings with coach Chris Petersen and also did some chalk talk with quarterbacks coach Jonathan Smith that went really well.

"All the coaches are cool," Greene said. "I like all the coaches. Coach (Petersen) my dad and I met with him three times and he offered before we left. Coach Smith, the quarterbacks coach, is a really cool guy. We met and then we went to the white board and we drew up a couple plays and we were talking about scenarios.
