Koa on playing QB, Cal, and sleeping in a gym



Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, CA) athlete Koa Farmer has been keeping himself busy. After wrapping up a track and field season that saw the Knights' boys team finish 2nd overall at the State Championships, the Cal commit has returned to football preparations for his upcoming senior season.

"Everything's going good. It's pretty much football 24/7 right now," Farmer said. "Track season was good. Really good. We finished 3rd in 4x100 and second overall in the state, behind Serra. I ran the third leg of the relay and handed off to Khalfani on the anchor leg. That's the last time we'll run together in high school. Even though we didn't win it all this year, our coach was happy and we were too."

Farmer and 2013 Cal signee Khalfani Muhammad's relay team ran a 41.01 in the final... the same time that won them the state title last year.

Now the focus has shifted to football...
