Scoutsfocus All-American Day 1

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - With NBPA Top-100 Camp being a favorite for scouts, the strategical idea to have Scoutsfocus All-American Camp right next to the venue was ideal in attracting some strong younger talent and mid-major prospects. Here is the recap of the top performers from the first day.

2015 point guard JoJo Anderson of La Lumiere (IN) - Following a big week of decisions regarding his future, Anderson played his calm, yet sneaky, role at the point. Limited without the ball in his hands, the Houston native was fantastic when he had the ball in his hands. A true floor general, he can setup his teammates to score, or take it to the rack for two. This has helped lead him to offers from Houston, Nebraska, Auburn, Texas A&M and Rice. He visited both Nebraska and Creighton this past week, and made the announcement that he would be leaving Houston Yates (TX) for national powerhouse La Lumiere (IN) this fall.

2016 wing Adrian Moore of North Little Rock (AR) - A solid on-ball defender, Moore came into the camp with some hype based on his recruitment. He backed it up with his long frame, slashing ability and ability to create opportunities for others. As his jumper has improved since the spring, the Arkansas native needs to consistently finish at the rim. Early offers are in from the local school, Arkansas, and Baylor. Interest is pouring in from UConn, Kansas, Arizona, NC State, Florida, Memphis, Tennessee and others. The Volunteers will host Moore on campus next weekend for their Elite Camp.

2015 forward Kevin Holmes of Green Run (VA) - Long and bursting with upside once he grows into his body, Holmes has a ways to go but he is starting to peak on the court. Using his length and energy on the defensive boards, the rising junior has a good shot selection for a young forward and can only get better. A visit to Radford is planned for the end of June as the Highlanders, along with ECU, Rider and Louisiana Tech, have began tracking him through his play with Team Loaded (VA).

2014 point guard Isaac Fleming of Massanutten Military (VA) - A strong effort was given by the 6-foot-2 point guard whose had a good spring with Team Loaded (VA). Fleming did a great job of creating opportunities for others by distributing the ball in a variety of ways. The three-star prospect showed he can get to the basket, but still needs to work on his jump shot. Currently, Fleming holds offers from Radford, Fairfield and North Carolina Central, with interest from UTEP and Penn State. Fleming plans on visiting the Stags campus before June ends.

2014 power forward Aaron Ariri of St. Anthony (NJ) - After a quiet year at St. Anthony, the Canadian prospect will look for a new school for his final year. Playing with Grassroots Canada on the AAU circuit, the four man showed his resiliency on the boards and when banging in the post to score. Ariri runs the floor well and did a great job of converting layups. Duquesne, Bryant, Binghamton, Hofstra, Quinnipiac and others are looking at him with most schools having seen him a limited amount of times. Look for more schools to get serious if the big man has a strong summer.

2015 point guard Tookie Brown of Morgan County (GA) - Southern Stampede's floor general, the rising junior is energetic but focused on the court. His objective on the court is simply to make his teammates better and he does that with the way he creates. Only 5-foot-11, Brown makes up for it with his strength. His only offer comes from the school who landed two recruits in his class this past week, Mississippi State. He also holds interest from UCLA, Clemson, Miami, Georgetown, Georgia Tech and UConn.
