Signee Q&A: Get to Know Nnamdi Adim-Madumere

TGR: What was your favorite part of the recruiting process? What didn’t you like?

Adim-Nadumere: "I don’t necessarily have a favorite part because I loved the whole process. There wasn’t much I didn’t like. Everyone showed genuine love to me."

What’s the craziest thing a coach said to you?

"The craziest thing a coach has said to me was that he was trying to sway/convince me to play tight end or defense in college."

What sort of music do you listen to? Favorite artists?

"I listen to rap, hip-hop and Christian Rap. My favorite artist is Zro, Bizzle."

What’s a fun fact about you?

"I'm really smart and I like problem solving. I also make and produce my own beats."

What are you looking forward to the most about college? What will you study?

"I'm looking forward to football season and doing whatever it takes to help me get to the NFL. I’ll be majoring in accounting."

What moment did you realize Minnesota was the right fit for you?

"I knew I wanted to go to Minnesota when I learned that Coach Fleck played and coached in the NFL, and also when I learned Coach Simon signed with an NFL team."

Do you have any short-time or long-term goals as a Gopher?

"My short term goals include beating a top ten team, and a long term goal that I have is to win more bowl games and have winning seasons at Minnesota."
