Gophers land JUCO quarterback
Southwest Mississippi CC quarterback Neil McLaurin announced his commitment today to Minnesota today on Twitter. McLaurin is currently on an official visit to campus.

The 6'2", 190 pound quarterback is a "three for three" junior college transfer. This fall, he completed 85 of 161 passes (52.8%) for 964 yards, eight touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He also carried the ball 80 times for 440 yards and six touchdowns.
McLaurin chose Minnesota over an offer from Troy.
