Jaquarius Landrews is golden

Copiah-Lincoln CC safety Jaquarius Landrews flipped his commitment from Mississippi State to Minnesota today after taking an official visit this weekend.

The commitment is an important one, with Damarius Travis graduating at the end of the season. Landrews is a "two for two" JUCO prospect and will likely make an immediate impact once he arrives in Minnesota.

Jay Sawvel has been the 6'1", 210 pound safety's point of contact from Minnesota. The two have developed a good relationship.

“He told me that he thinks I’m a heck of a ball player and that I’m a guy that can definitely come in and help out.”

The three-star also holds offers from Arkansas, Middle Tennessee State, and Southern Miss.
