Jarvis Thomas commits to Minnesota

The Gopher basketball team has picked up their second commitment in the 2018 class from the Howard Pulley Panthers in high-flying Orono forward Jarvis Thomas. Thomas is the No. 138 player in the new Rivals150 and No. 3 player in Minnesota.

At Minnesota, he says he has a “good relationship” with Richard Pitino and assistant Ben Johnson, and says “they’re both good coaches.”

“I like their style of play and recruiting class they just got. It’s a good school, and it’s home.”

Thomas joins Daniel Otutu to make up an athletic, in-state big man duo.
