Nate Bursch is the sixth to grab a golden ticket

Woodbury tight end Nate Bursch committed to Minnesota this evening following his visit. He received the offer on Wednesday after a strong camp performance the previous weekend.

“I grew up a Gopher fan," he told GI in a story Wednesday. "I've watched them my whole life with my dad and almost every year we've made it to at least one game."

In addition to representing his state, Bursch looks forward to playing under Rob Reeves.

“He’s simple and strict, but I like that,” he said. "I like how intense he is. He doesn’t like to lose...He’s hard on you when you make mistakes, but that’s how you become the best.”

Bursch chose the Gophers over offers from North Dakota, South Dakota, and South Dakota State.
