Nate Pomeday will leave the Minnesota basketball staff, according to a Friday morning tweet. He'll join an unnamed American Athletic Conference school. Marcus Fuller reported this afternoon that it will be an administrative job.
Pomeday was named assistant coach in May 2015 after one season at Minnesota as the director of basketball operations. He came to Minnesota after six years as an assistant coach at Oregon State. Prior to Oregon State, Pomeday was a high school coach in Indiana and then Illinois.
