Brewster tranfers and BTN on Minnesota
Brewster to transfer
The University of Minnesota sent out the following press release today on the transfer of Clint Brewster.
University of Minnesota head football coach Tim Brewster has announced that red-shirt freshman quarterback Clint Brewster will transfer for the upcoming school year and football season.
The following is head coach Tim Brewster's statement on Clint's decision: "Clint Brewster has decided to transfer. I respect and admire Clint's decision to further his education and play football elsewhere."
It would be safe to speculate that playing time was the major factor with Clint's decision to leave the U. Just one year ahead of Brewster on the depth chart is Adam Weber, a quarterback who set many single season records during his first season as a starting quarterback. Also factor in that just one year behind Weber will be high school All-American quarterback MarQueis Gray.
