Highland Park's Josh Aune commits to Minnesota

Highland Park athlete Josh Aune committed to Minnesota tonight after receiving an offer following an impressive camp performance. Aune is 6’2” and 200 pounds with great athleticism. He’ll likely start as a safety but has the frame to grow into an outside linebacker.

The St. Paul native has been in contact with PJ Fleck, Matt Simon, and Mo Linguist since the winter, and has previously told TGR that “it would definitely mean a lot” to receive a Minnesota offer.

Aune also holds offers from Montana State, North Dakota, North Dakota State, South Dakota, and South Dakota State.
