Minnesota DT Luther McCoy has entered the transfer portal, Gophers Nation has confirmed. The 6-foot-4, 300-pound defensive tackle announced his intentions on X, Monday afternoon.

McCoy according to Pro Football Focus played 13 total snaps for Minnesota over his four seasons with 10 coming this season against Rhode Island. McCoy was originally a member of Minnesota's

2021 recruiting class, choosing the Gophers over Arkansas, Baylor, Cincinnati, and Coastal Carolina.
