12/31 UA All-America Game: Five surprises on opening day by Mike Pszonak

"The former teammates from IMG Academy and future teammates at Minnesota both stood out throughout the first practice session. Considered projects by many, both proved that they have the potential to contribute in the Big Ten sooner than expected. They actually lined up next to each other throughout the day and more than held their own against a number of four- and five-star defensive ends and tackles. Faalele’s huge size and length were used to his advantage, while Dunlap used his strength, girth and surprisingly quick feet to outduel a number of tackles. Gopher fans should be excited about the future on the offensive line."

1/2 Three-point stance: Stock up, stock down, and more from Under Armour by Mike Farrell:

"Offensive lineman Daniel Faalele had a good day as the Minnesota signee showed good patience and footwork. The teams crossed over and went one-on-one against each other and Jordan Davis, an Alabama signee, went from being handled byNick Petit-Frere to being handled by Faalele...I might do a “high ceiling” list from this event because there are so many guys just scratching the surface of their potential like Faalele, Smith, Eyabi Anoma and more."

1/2 Under Armour All-America Game: Five players to watch on Team Highlight by USA Today High School Sports:

"Daniel Faalele: One of the largest players in high school football, Faalele’s sheer size made him a coveted recruit before he played a competitive game. At 6-8 and nearly 400 pounds, Faalele played his senior season at IMG Academy and has committed to Minnesota. Thursday will be a real test for the big man and a chance for him to show how far he has come in his first season on the gridiron."

1/5: UA All-America Game: The Farrell Awards by Mike Farrell

Daniel Faalele wins the "Phsical Prowess" award: "This award is given to the best-looking prospect on the hoof, the guy who looks like he could play in college or even the NFL right now. This one is easy as offensive lineman and Minnesota signeeDaniel Faalele is a mountain of a prospect with no bad weight. At 6-foot-9 and nearly 400 pounds, he is the biggest offensive lineman I’ve seen at an all-star game. It would be easy to pass him off as an NFL player. "

Faalele was also an honorable mention recipient of the "Game Changer" award: "Daniel Faalele was one of the best offensive linemen in the game," Farrell wrote.

1/5: TGR is told that the injury Curtis Dunlap suffered that prevented him from playing in the game is not serious.

1/6: Alex Carlson re-watched the UA All-America Game and wrote a GIF breakdown of Daniel Faalele's performance. ($)
