Minnesota will be hosting 2026 quarterback Owen Lansu for a multi-day unofficial visit at the end of the month, the Downers Grove, Illnois native announced on X on Monday.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound quarterback holds offers from Akron, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Miami (OH), Minnesota, Northwestern, Toledo, UNLV, and Western Michigan.
His upcoming official visit will be third time in his recruitment that Lansu has visited the Gophers and the first since April of 2023. The three-star prospect has also been a frequent visitor to Northwestern, making a trio of visits to the Wildcats including twice this spring.
During his three day unofficial visit with the Gophers, Lansu will take part in the Gophers final camp of the summer where he'll get to work closely with Gophers quarterbacks coach Greg Harbaugh Jr.
Minnesota currently holds a pair of commitments in their 2026 recruiting class from offensive lineman Andrew Trout and defensive lineman Howie Johnson.
