With the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's basketball program officially into the offseason, they saw their first transfer portal departure on Monday.
Freshman guard Jaden Henley, a native of Ontario (CA) is leaving the program it was reported before being confirmed by Rivals. In his lone season with the Gophers, Henley played in 31 games for the program including making 18 starts and averaging 20.8 minutes per game. In those 31 games, he averaged 5.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.
Henley originally committed to the Gophers as part of their 2021 recruiting class, signing with the program over San Diego State. The Gophers on top of Henley are also expected to lose Taurus Samuels, Talon Cooper, and Jamison Battle this offseason.
