Raleigh (NC) defensive end Beau Atkinson is one of the best at his position in the country. The 6-foot-6, 240-pound pass-rusher started racking up offers in early 2020, and just recently started seeing his recruitment pick back up once again with Miami, Michigan, and Minnesota all joining the mix.

Atkinson has been pleased to see his recruitment gain some steam, and is working on setting up some visits for the summer time to keep the momentum going.

"My recruitment has picked up a ton recently, I put some film out there and it picked up," said Atkinson. "It is all going really well. I am probably hearing from Virginia, Miami, Michigan, and now Minnesota the most."

The Gopher staff was reaching out here and there for a few weeks before defensive line coach Chad Wilt reached out and had a 90 minute conversation with the four-star D-end.
