The Minnesota Golden Gophers will be holding their first of two big official visit weekends this week, and Gophers Nation is going to break down the recruitments of each uncommitted official visitor making their way to Minneapolis.

Next up in our series is Varina (VA) running back SirPaul Cheeks. Cheeks is a smaller running back at 5-foot-9 and 185 pounds, but was productive last season as a junior for Varina with 591 yards and 10 touchdowns on just 54 carries. He also had 35 receptions for 558 yards and six touchdowns.

Cheeks is one of three running backs that will be on campus for official visits this weekend, joining current Gophers' commitment Ezekiel Bates (Malvern Prep - PA) and Milford Academy (MD) standout Damon Ferguson.
